How to Download Content
#### On Mobile (iOS/Android)
1. Open the Max app
2. Find the movie or show you want
3. Look for the Download icon (arrow pointing down)
4. Tap it - the download starts automatically
5. Access your downloads from the profile menu > Downloads
#### Download Quality Options
Before downloading, you can set quality preferences:
1. Go to Profile > Settings > Downloads
2. Choose quality:
- Standard: Smaller file size, good for limited storage
- High: Better quality, larger files
Storage estimates:
- 1-hour show (Standard): ~500 MB
- 1-hour show (High): ~1.5 GB
- 2-hour movie (Standard): ~1 GB
- 2-hour movie (High): ~3 GB
Download Limits
- Maximum downloads: 100 titles across your account
- Devices with downloads: Up to 5
- Download expiration: 30 days after download
- Viewing window: 48 hours after you start watching
What Can Be Downloaded?
Available for download:
- Most original Max series
- Many licensed movies and shows
- HBO original content
Not available:
- Some licensed content (due to rights restrictions)
- Live TV content
- Certain recent releases
How to tell: If there's no download icon on a title, it's not available for download.
Managing Your Downloads
#### Viewing Downloaded Content
1. Open Max app
2. Tap your Profile icon
3. Select "Downloads"
4. All your downloaded content is here
#### Deleting Downloads
1. Go to Downloads
2. Swipe left on a title (iOS) or tap edit (Android)
3. Tap Delete
4. Confirm
#### Auto-Delete Watched Downloads
1. Profile > Settings > Downloads
2. Enable "Delete watched downloads"
3. Content auto-removes after you finish watching

#### Before a Flight
- Download the night before (faster WiFi at home)
- Download more than you think you'll watch
- Check that downloads work offline before leaving WiFi
#### Storage Management
- Regularly clear watched downloads
